From Fort William take the road to Mallaig (A830). Proceed over the Caledonian Canal and turn right immediately thereafter – signposted Banavie and Gairlochy. Proceed along this road (B8004) for around 4 miles and turn left before the bridge where it is signposted Glenloy. Follow the road to the end and pass through the gate to Achanellan, the Shepherd's Hut is 100m up the drive on the left.
